About the Position:
Vertic is seeking an ambitious digital strategist with experience consulting with Fortune 500 companies who is passionate about driving end to end projects and building client relationships. If you are a thinker and a builder who is an advocate for transformational work, who takes an audience-first approach to marketing, who prefers to be hands-on in the ideation of digital marketing experiences, and are eager to work in a collaborative setting, then this role is for you.
The Account and Strategy lead is a self-starter and a creative problem solver who will take ownership of an end-to-end project; from being involved in strategy work to overseeing the strategy translate into design and development – while managing the day-to-day client communication. We move fast, so we need someone who can work quickly and collaboratively, at times taking minimal information and filling in the gaps with knowledge and structure. From translating insights into persuasive stories and ensuring the strategy is coming to life with execution, we are looking for someone who can be a product owner and gain the trust of clients.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Day to day communication with the client in partnership with the project management team
- Act as a strategy resource when needed to deliver client work and ensure persuasive storytelling in presentations.
- Articulate and drive a strong and realistic product vision and strategy for the production team to execute on.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., UX, technology) to ensure that there is a red thread from insights and strategy to the creation and implementation of the solution.
- Support cross functional teams from Strategy to UX/ Design and development in problem solving and managing client requests.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with clients, act as a strong advisor and creative problem solver.
- Collaborate with project management to effectively integrate strategies into production plans to ensure successful implementation i.e. participate in scope definition, prioritize requirements, help break down and estimate tasks, share assumptions, risks and dependencies, etc.
- Prioritize client requests and clarify requirements to keep production team members well-organized and productive.
- Display superior presentation skills and convey expertise in presenting to clients.
- Identify opportunities to develop business with existing clients.
- Willingness to travel to client offices on an as-needed basis.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or previous relevant experience in marketing, advertising or communications.
- 4-6 years working as a highly effective digital strategist, management consultant or product owner at an inhouse digital marketing agency or consulting agency.
- Ability to articulate ideas and recommend appropriate strategies and tactics confidently and concisely.
- Ability to provide authoritative strategic counsel to clients and teams and deliver high impact work.
- Team player. Effectively collaborate with project management and team members from initial brief to implementation to ensure proper understanding and execution. Driven by business value creation.
- Skilled in consulting and presenting to marketing executives.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Comfortable in ambiguity and able to provide clear direction to a collaborative, cross-functional team.
- Passionate about all things digital with a solid grasp of digital marketing strategy, experiences, and trends.
- Deep problem-solving skills.
- Appreciation for agile ways of working.
- Industry knowledge within technology and industrial companies preferred.

Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000
